Sofas delivered across Glasgow, from West End tenements to new-builds on the south side.
Sofas for Glasgow
Glasgow is our biggest delivery area and our showroom in Overtown is an easy drive from the city, about 30 to 40 minutes down the M74 depending on where you're coming from and the traffic. It's a trip plenty of Glasgow customers make on a weekend, because seeing and sitting on a sofa before you buy saves a lot of second-guessing. There's a wheelchair-accessible car park at the showroom and we're open every day, 10:00 to 17:00, so you don't have to squeeze it into a Saturday. We deliver across the whole city, including the West End, Southside, East End, the North and all the surrounding suburbs such as Rutherglen, Cambuslang, Bearsden, Milngavie, Newton Mearns and Clarkston. If you'd rather not travel, WhatsApp us a photo of your room and we'll send photos and videos of sofas that would suit it.
Getting a sofa into a Glasgow home
A lot of Glasgow homes are traditional sandstone tenements with a shared close, stone stairs that turn at every landing, and flat doors that can be narrower than modern ones. Big sofas usually get up a tenement stair if they come in sections or have removable feet and back cushions, but it's worth measuring the tightest turn on the stair and your front door before you choose. Newer flats often have lifts, but check the lift's internal depth and height, not just the door. Houses in the suburbs are usually more straightforward, though hallways with a tight turn into the living room catch people out.
- Measure the front door and the narrowest turn
- Check stair width and any landing turns
- Ask which sofas come in sections
Glasgow: questions
Do you deliver sofas to Glasgow tenement flats?
Yes. Tenement closes and stairs are something we deal with regularly. Measure your front door, the narrowest part of the close and the tightest turn on the stair, and send us the numbers. Sofas that come in sections are usually the easiest option.
